Anchorage Alaska Northwest Orient Postcard with classic old cars

Words written on the back of the 1950's or early 1960's postcard
...........Anchorage, completely modern, is the largest city in Alaska.  It is the gateway to this fabulous vacationland, a paradise for the fisherman and hunter, and take off point for some of the most beautiful sightseeing in the world  Anchorage is only a few swift hours away by Northwest Orient Airlines.

These words have not changed much except Northwest Orient does not exist today.  I love the old classic cars parked and driving down this street.

What a pretty photo of a time less hurried.
